Mecca Riane is primarily a portrait photographer born and raised in New Mexico. 

With a decade of experience behind and in front of the camera, she specializes in capturing moments of intentional and spontaneous connection through dynamic fashion and editorial portraiture.  Her passion for photography ignited at the age of fifteen when she began studying Fine Arts and Media Arts at Santa Fe Community College. Through ongoing partnerships with Santa Fe Photographic Workshop, Mecca has continued to refine her skills and expand her artistic vision.  She attributes her growth to influential courses such as Studio Lighting with Nicolas Rapaz, The Language of Black and White with Cira Crowell, and The Editorial Portrait with Natural Light with Celeste Sloman. Having worked with names like Albert Watson, Joe McNally, Andrew Eccles, Keith Carter, Sarah Silverman, Kurt Markus,

Greg Gorman, Kurt Iswarienko, Laurie Klein, Jeff Lipsky, Andrew Southam, Shelly Vandegrift, Michael Clarke and many more.
Containing a solid background in both photography and modeling, Mecca brings a fresh and multifaceted approach to her craft. Her dedication to storytelling and showcasing the beauty of individuals and their work shines through in her captivating photographs.
